An environmental symbiosis type of data center that ensures the safety and usability of data integrity
The concepts are as follows: (1) “A seismic isolation structure resistant to disasters,” (2) “An environmental symbiosis type of facility that positively utilizes natural energy,” (3) “A highly reliable facility with a nonstop air-conditioning & power system,” (4) “A flexible facility composition that can respond to future changes,” and (5) “A safe and secure facility with a robust security system.” The data center is based on tiers 3 and 4 of the facility standards established by the Japan Data Center Council, the Security Guidelines on Computer Systems for Banking and Related Financial Institutions, and other applicable criteria. The facility composition is made highly extensible and usable to enable the addition and modification of racks while continuing business operations, with a floor plan where zoning is made into two sections with four functional shafts used as spines, and a highly redundant facility system.
