A hospital aiming to realize a highly attentive nursing system
This medical center consists of an H-shaped ward building on the south side, an outpatient consultation and treatment building on the north side, and a large atrium used as waiting hall in the central part. In the ward building, each nursing unit consists of two sub-nurse stations to realize a highly attentive nursing system. The patients’ dining room and day room at the center of the ward form a two-story stairwell space that commands a fine view, having been intended to positively incorporate the natural environment surrounded by greenery. With this, the goal is to improve the ward environment for patients and their families, and the effects of mental health care.
