A “super hospital” that practices the principle of “Only life is given equally to all human beings.” The “Aegis ship” design concept reflects high functionality, high speed, and high precision.
This is the core hospital of the Tokushu-kai Group that observes the basic philosophy of “Only life is given equally to all human beings.” The hospital has a track record as Japan’s top hospital in terms of the number of heart catheterization treatments for four consecutive years (2009 – 2012), and also ranks high in terms of the number of heart surgeries performed in the country. The planned construction of a new building will increase the number of beds by 200 and augment treatment functionality. The hospital will thus have the mobility to provide examination and treatment with high functionality, high speed, and high efficiency, in addition to “short traffic lines,” “good visibility” and “quick movement.” A large span structure using both the seismic isolation structure and the PC method was also adopted, and “wards without blind spots” and “ICU without pillars” were planned. In anticipation of possible air transport in the future, a “nonpublic heliport (private airfield)” was also established for acceptance of air ambulance as well as transport of doctors and patients, with authorization of the Civil Aviation Bureau being obtained.
