A bright and compact school lunch supply center
This center supplies 5,000 lunches a day. Due to its somewhat narrow site and the comprehensive hygiene management required by law, the delivery/recovery entrance for meal containers and the service entrance for foodstuffs and other materials are located at different places. Therefore, the building was made compact to allow delivery and other vehicles to smoothly access the necessary entrances and exits. At the same time, the center was intended to provide a comfortable work environment for its clerical staff, and for the purpose of securing a tour route for children’s study visits, major work rooms were designed so that the staff could look outside, with extra windows being installed to take in as much natural light as possible, high-side lights placed in the corridors, and framed doors and windows to make the room look shining clean.
