Improvement and reinforcement of mission as "Citizens Hospital"

This is a relocation and extension plan. The upgrading of various departments for advanced medical care in pursuit of "wards that ensure ease of work and a sense of security from watching eyes," "enhancement of outpatient function," "more beds for dialysis treatment," "upgrading of the surgical, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic imaging departments," and "reinforcement of emergency outpatient units" was planned through addition of a building with site expansion and renovation of the existing building. At the same time, the hospital's basic principles of "helping community residents who wish for health by providing the best medical care with the spirit of benevolence and dedication in collaboration with community residents" are pursued with "three friendliness themes" based on community medical care. The "people-friendly" theme is pursued with the outpatient department with good visibility using the "hospital street" as the axis and the signage plan with focus on easy comprehension by elderly patients who are in the majority. The "environment-friendly" theme is pursued with promotion of energy saving and carbon dioxide reduction through the use of LED lights in the entire building, reduction of load on boilers with solar heat panels, etc. The "life-friendly" theme is pursued with supply of spaces for local community communication by making use of the outdoor rehabilitation garden, pond that uses well water, and a tree as a symbol of the hospital in the court. The exterior was designed with focus on frontality.
