A challenging plan that realized a new form of what a new type of hospital specialized in acute phase care should be
The plan was made under the theme of materializing the patients-oriented concept instead of the conventional care-oriented concept in architecture. Consequently, the plan was formulated by predicting the future direction of medical care and combining a number of new proposals including the centralization and decentralization of various functions, and the arrangement and composition of cross-sectional functions that integrate the four COE functions and consultation/treatment functions with a large courtyard as a core amenity, the actualization of a medical mall, and other elements.
