A central hospital aiming at advanced medical care

Under a basic policy of serving the role of a central hospital in Miyazaki Prefecture, the facilities were improved in order to promptly provide necessary medical services to citizens. In an effort to build a hospital from the standpoint of patients, we tried to make the outpatient consultation and treatment department bright and spacey as a whole, beginning with the patients’ waiting hall. We also aimed at realizing a heart-easing hospital embraced in greenery amid an urban area by setting wide green spaces and planting trees. To build a high-level clinical education hospital, we gave considerations to make it suitable as a place of serious study for students and young doctors, by properly setting up lecture rooms, libraries, conference rooms, common rooms for students, etc.
