An urban-style renewal project that does not impart a gradual feeling of construction
Despite gradual reconstruction work within the same site in the metropolitan area, the plan aimed to complete a new hospital building that would ultimately look as if constructed at one time. As long as we look at the completed building, we are hardly able to imagine that it was constructed step-by-step in terms of the exterior and zoning. The plan was made to construct the new hospital building within the shortest period possible, by minimizing temporary work and preventing a decrease in the number of active beds to the minimum during the work.
